Mnemosyne Rises
So last week the first tangible signs of the production began. To fill ya in, my next film - Mnemosyne Rising - begins shooting in four weeks. Between now and then, we have to build a spaceship. Heh.
Broadly, the movie is about a pilot who experiences strange happenings onboard his ship while surveying a distant moon. As he spends forty days isolated in deep space, he’s haunted by memories of his wife back on Earth and the last time he saw her. Part Solaris and 2001, the film is a love letter to all those cerebral sci-fi films and books I’ve loved since I was a kid.
The way I look at it, I’m building a spaceship and there’s nothing else I’d rather be doing.
